About Cute & Pip
Hello and welcome I am Pippa and the founder of Cute&Pip I am a fellow tubie; A full time wheelchair user and Autistic!
I first started making my own Tubie Tapes and tubie scrunchies/other accessories about 6 months into my Tubie journey.
I then ended up on a very long hospital admissions on the Gastro ward and since I had lots of spare tubie tape I decided to share it around the ward. I also gave some to the amazing the ward manager who also gave some tubie tapes to the children’s ward. The amazing medical team gave such kind and positive feedback regarding the difference it made in people’s medical journey. since we all know how big of an adjustment having a feeding tube is. I personally found when I first started my tubie journey the difference cute tubie tape and other tubie accessories made in accepting and adapting to my new life and made it a little more fun!
So from my hospital room I set up Cute&Pip on Etsy and started sewing and adapting products for my tubie life! Now nearly 1 year on from my hospital room I am overwhelmed by the amazing support the Tubie community has shown to me and my teeny tiny buisness I can not thank you enough! A little about my Tubie life
I started of my Tubie journey with a nasojejunal (NJ) Tube I had this for just over a year then sadly ended up in hospital for 3 while I was in hospital I had a PICC line for fluids then as we trialed different feed and meds I now have a PEG-J tube which I have now had for nearly a entire year!
While I still have a mixture of bad and good day cute & pip has been life changing and has been the constant throughout and has given me something positive to focus on during the very hard day and I love giving back to the amazing tubie community for all the love and support you have shown me!
